Summary

Unit 3 analyses in detail the different types of 3D woven structures available for technical applications. Three types of 3D solid woven structures such as orthogonal, angle interlock and fully interlaced are discussed, as well as, two types of 3D hollow woven structures, such as, spacer structures and honeycomb structures.
